Will Minnesota Get Its First Snow Of The Season In September?
I know we don't want to talk about it but fall is almost here. The good news is that it's still been pretty warm and all but we all know what is coming once the leaves start to turn.
I am actually excited about fall. I love summertime as well but fall is my favorite season. It means Halloween, all things spooky and of course, pumpkin spice and pumpkin-flavored everything.

However, with fall comes our most unpredictable weather in the Northland. It wouldn't be out of the question for it to snow, just like it did last Halloween, or for it to be mild as we head into the last part of the year.
In fact, it wouldn't even be entirely out of the question to get a few flurries. After all, last year the Old Farmer's Almanac was predicting a week of light snow. It didn't happen - but will it happen this year?

Is The Old Farmer's Almanac Predicting Snow Next Month?
Curiosity got the best of me so I had to check out the Old Farmer's Almanac to see if snow was in the forecast for September. There is some good news and some bad news, depending on what you feel about the fall.

First and foremost, the Old Farmer's Almanac is not predicting any snow for our region next month. However, it looks like things will turn very fall-like so make sure you soak in every moment of summer this month!

What can we expect? It looks like we will cling on to summer for the first week of the month but then things will take a turn towards the fall, with cooler temperatures and showers for the rest of September.

While I am ready for fall (or will be by the time next month rolls around), I definitely am not ready for winter. Last winter was insane! We will have to wait and see what happens and in the meantime, soak in all the sunshine.
