Minnesota State Fair Announces 2025 Free Entertainment Lineup

It's crazy how fast this year has flown by! The Minnesota State Fair is only a few months away, which is insane to think about.

The fair kicks off on Thursday, August 21st and continues through Labor Day. As always, you can expect some crazy foods on a stick, delicious drinks and a ton of attractions.

For those that want some free entertainment, you're in luck! As always, the Minnesota State Fair will have a lengthy list of free concerts and shows.

They just announced the lineup on Thursday (May 15th), and based on the lineup, it looks like there really is something for everyone!

There are more than 100 free shows you catch from dance shows to tribute bands to YouTube star and musician Jonah Marais. He is the most notable name on the list, with nearly two-million Instagram followers.

Famous Northlander Steve Solkela will also be performing a free show at the show so make sure you stop at that one if you are going to the fair and support! He is hilarious.

2025 Minnesota State Fair Free Entertainment Lineup Details

It's true - all shows are free with admission into the fair. The shows will be spread out throughout six different stages: Bandshell, Cosgrove Stage, Family Fair Stage, Summit Stage at the Bazaar, The North Woods Stage and the West End Market Stage.
