Wisconsin Pizzeria Apologies To Customers Who Got Stoned From Their Pizza
A popular and well-loved pizza place in Wisconsin is apologizing to their loyal customers after a kitchen mishap. For a period of two days, they accidentally served pizza that had contaminated THC crust. Now, health officials are urging people to throw out any pizza they may have left from this week.
It happened at Famous Yeti's Pizza in Stoughton, Wisconsin.
They posted the apology to their Facebook page with an explanation of what happened.
The contaminated pizza was sold between October 22nd, 4:30 PM to Thursday, October 24th, 12:00 PM. Staff received reports of unexplained physical reactions. The owners and employees underwent an investigation with the Stoughton Police Department along with local health officials.
During the investigation, it was discovered that pizza dough had been prepared mistakenly with Delta9-contaminated oil. The oil came from a shared storage space in the on-site cooperative commercial kitchen.

People online were quick to make fun of the situation. Others joked about whether they could make it a part of their regular menu.
It wasn't a joking matter for many people who got high without consent and likely had way too much in their system. Delta 9 THC is legal in Wisconsin as it is hemp-based. It does cause a psychoactive high in large enough doses.
There was also a lot of loyal customers who supported the business and understood how the mistake could happen. Famous Yeti's Pizza continues to have a 4.7 star rating on Google Reviews.
Health officials describe the possible symptoms as dizziness, increased blood pressure, increased heart rate, and nausea. For those people who have experienced too much THC, you know how scary it is to forget how to breathe.
Channel3000 reports that the Madison & Dane County Public Health has an online questionnaire they would like you to fill out if you believe you ate contaminated pizza.
