Live Orchestra Performances: A Growing Trend

One of the hottest trends in live events is movie screenings with a full orchestra playing the soundtrack live, this has been done with blockbuster films like 'Lord of the Rings', 'Jurassic Park', and of course 'Star Wars', and now we'll have a chance to experience it in Minnesota.

A Truly Interactive Experience

The Minnesota Orchestra is hosting 'Star Wars - A New Hope in Concert', with the full orchestra playing the score live and synced with the film.

Fans are encouraged to have more fun than a traditional show at Orchestra Hall by cheering and even booing at moments or characters during the concert, "enjoy this truly unique and collective experience together," they say.

Showtimes and Ticket Information

All the shows are open to kids 6 and older and tickets are on sale now for the 4 concerts that happen at 7 PM on Tuesday, October 1st, Friday the 4th, and Saturday the 5th, and there is a matinée show at 2 PM on Sunday, October 6th.

Ticket prices for the shows range between $45 and $120 plus fees, prices for kids aged 6 to 17 are about 25% less expensive, love when places do this to help make it a little more affordable for families to enjoy.
