The Wildest And Inventive New Foods Coming To The 2025 Minnesota State Fair

As has been tradition for many years, the Minnesota State Fair just unveiled its list of new foods and new vendors coming to the Great Minnesota Get-Together for the first time in 2025.

This year's list includes 33 new food & beverage items and 8 new food vendors that join the fray of the numerous others to choose from at the fair.

To say the fair has something for everyone's taste is an understatement! The fair has over 1,600 foods and almost 300 vendors across the fairgrounds that range from classics like corn dogs and cheese curds to the more inventive and unique finds the Minnesota State Fair takes pride in having each year.

Some of the wildest, most inventive, or unique foods and drinks include things like the Cannoli Gelato Nachos - a sweet take on the idea of nachos. Or how about the dill pickle iced tea? That one seems like it might be kind of polarizing.

This one really grabbed my attention - The team with Fluffy's Hand Cut Donuts is going to be serving up a hot honey jalapeno popper donut, complete with pickled jalapenos on top. While it might not be friendly to the stereotypical Minnesota palate that doesn't like heat, I think it sounds amazing!

A couple of other wild creations that grabbed my attention as the wildest or most creative include the "Uncrustaburger", which uses Uncrustables sandwiches as the buns for a burger, the "Timber Twists" that blend a some meats and cheese into a smoked barbecue wonder, and the "Sweet Squeaker" cheese curds that have a sweet twist with funnel cake batter and some other sweet toppings.
