Where Will The Giant Ice Maze Be in Minnesota?
Get ready for a frosty and fun-filled experience at the 2025 Minnesota Ice Festival, coming to Viking Lakes in Eagan this winter!
The centerpiece of this year's festival will be the world's largest ice maze ever constructed, aiming for a Guinness World Record. Spanning an impressive 18,000 square feet, the maze will challenge visitors to navigate its LED-lit paths, while trying not to end up like Jack Nicholson at the end of 'The Shining'
What Else is Happening at the Minnesota Ice Festival?
In addition to the record-breaking maze, the festival will feature a variety of exciting attractions. Thrill-seekers can race down the three-lane ice slide, while those looking for a more relaxing experience can glide across the 3,500-square-foot skating rink (skates available for rent).
Food and Drinks for All Ages
When it's time to warm up, head to the Warming House for some hot cocoa and comfort food, or grab a bite from one of the Twin Cities' favorite local food trucks. For those 21 and over, the themed ice bars will be serving up handcrafted cocktails featuring Pure & Clear Ice from Minnesota Ice.
New At The Minnesota Ice Festival in 2025
New to the festival in 2025 is the Carver Cup, an international ice sculpting competition that will bring talented teams from around the world to showcase their skills. From January 30 through February 1, these artists will create icy works of art, competing for top honors, a cash prize, and the coveted Carver Cup trophy.
