Update: Missing Minnesota Teen Girl Found Safe
Update: She has been located safe, the BCA says.
Maple Lake, MN (KROC-AM News)- Officials have issued a statewide missing person alert for a Minnesota teen girl.

She was last seen over the past weekend. The alert was sent out on Thursday night on behalf of the Wright County Sheriff’s Office.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) says 15-year-old Madison Allen is believed to have purposefully left her home in Maple Lake around 10 p.m. on the night of Saturday, September 21.

Her family and friends have been unable to contact her since she left. Authorities say she lived in western Wisconsin until this past July and could have returned to that area.
Allen is described as 5’05”, 115 pounds with red hair and hazel eyes. She’s known to dress in black, has braces, often braided long hair and a heart tattoo on her right hand by her thumb, the BCA says.
She was also wearing shoes that are black and blue in color. The BCA alert does not include any information about a possible vehicle she could be traveling in.
Anyone who may have seen Allen or has knowledge of her whereabouts is asked to contact the Wright County Sheriff's Office at 763-682-7600.
