He was just traded back to Houston, Texas, so what is former Twins' shortstop Carlos Correa going to do with his multi-million dollar lake home?

The Minnesota Twins made news on July 31st by making a flurry of moves right at the Major League Baseball trade deadline. Including a few moves earlier in the week, they ended up trading 10 of the 26 players on their 2025 roster, with the biggest name being Carlos Correa, who's now leaving Minnesota and is heading back to the Houston Astros.

If you recall, Correa joined the Twins back in 2022 and then signed a massive contract extension the next year. It was March of 2023 when the Twins inked the Major League Baseball All-Star to a 6-year, $105 million contract right before Spring Training started three years ago.

And, it was right after signing that big deal that Carlos plunked down about $7.5 million of that contract on some new digs on Lake Minnetonka. BringMeTheNews reported then that Correa closed on an amazing home in Orono back on March 1, 2023. But now that he's headed back to Houston, will he put this lakeside paradise on the market?

If you're curious, Matt Johnson with Compass via Realtor.com said in 2023 that the home is located at 980 Heritage Lane in Orono. It's a 9,475 square-foot, 5-bed, 2.5-bath home that features over 200 feet of shoreline on swanky Lake Minnetonka. Check out how he described the property:

2020-built estate on 2.19 acres is situated on Lake Minnetonka's most exclusive bay with 225 feet of east-facing lakeshore.  The transitional style embraces natural light and views with warm yet modern design accents. A perfect blend of indoor and outdoor living amenities geared towards a year-round experience. Security gate, 6-car garage, full smart home technology, permanent dock, and more!

Whether or not Correa will now sell this amazing home is still a question. Multiple reports indicate that he also maintained a home in Houston while with the Twins, so it's possible he'll also retain this property now that he's back with the Astros.  Either way, keep scrolling to check out the pics of the Correa compound.
