The NCHC announced their postseason tournament will take place at Ralph Englestad Arena at the University of North Dakota.

The NCHC says that the tournament will take place from March 12 to March 16. The quarterfinals start on Friday, March 12, and Saturday, March 13. Then the semifinals will be on Monday, March 15, and the finals on Tuesday, March 16th. There will not be a third-place game this year.

The NCHC also said they are changing the format they have used for the past 7 seasons. It was a best of three quarterfinals on the campus sites of the colleges, then the Frozen Face-Off would be held at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. This year the whole tournament will be held in Grand Forks.
