Officials with the Superior School District are working hard to make sure that the general public is aware of a planned increase in police activity at the Superior Senior High School - February 20, 21, and 22.  According to a statement issued by the Superior School District, the increase in squads and patrolmen is due to co-use by the Superior Police Department - to facilitate training, interview, and testing.

Here are the dates and activities involved:

  • Thursday, February 20:  The Superior Police Department will be training in the swimming pool from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM.
  • Friday, February 21:  From 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, the police department will be utilizing school grounds to set up for the new hire agility course and interviews that will occur on Saturday.
  • Saturday, February 22:  From 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM, the department will perform new hire interviews and physical agility training on the school campus.

For further details, the general public is asked to direct their questions and concerns to the Superior School District or to the Superior Police Department.
