This is great news! The Haunted Ridge is still on for the 2020 Halloween season.

The popular attraction announced the news on their Facebook page Wednesday (August 19th). Organizers say the event is still a go with new COVID-19 policies and guidelines put in place to ensure the safety of staff and everyone who attends.

The new guidelines will require all staff and those who attend to wear a mask and practice social distancing. On top of that, organizers will also be giving all customers a pre-screening for COVID-19 prior to being let into the event space. They will also be giving customers a temperature check prior to entering the space as well.

No other details were given regarding what the event will look like this year but organizers did say they "have been working hard the past several months revamping and adding new scenes inside and out."

As of now, the event is set to kick off on Friday, October 9th and continue through the end of the month. A full list of dates and event times can be found in their post below.

I am so excited that this event is still happening amid COVID-19 coronavirus, with safety measures put in place. We need all the fun adventures that we can get during this difficult year.

Back in July, I reached out to event organizers to see what their plans were for this Halloween season. At that time, they said they were hopeful they'd be able to pull off the attraction in a safe manner but hadn't confirmed anything. The Haunted Ridge is located at 1781 County Road 1 in Carlton.
