One of Superior's notoriously-bad intersections is about to see some road work.  Crews with the City of Superior will start a multi-week project at the intersection of 37th Street and Tower Avenue on Monday, May 4.

During the project, there will be no access to Tower Avenue from North 37th Street; in addition, north and south-bound traffic on Tower Avenue (WI 35) will be restricted to one lane in each direction and drivers will not be able to turn onto North 37th Street.

The Work is part of larger projects that the City of Superior will be carrying out over the Summer of 2020.  Besides the high-visibility projects on Highway 2 & 53 and the work on the intersection of Tower Avenue and Highway 105 in South Superior, there are numerous street, sidewalk, and alley projects scheduled for throughout the city.  Click here to get the information.

Work at 37th and Tower Avenue is expected to be complete by May 15.
