Aaron Rodgers is teaming up with El Presidente, David Portnoy, to help out his Barstool Fund.

The Barstool Fund was created by Portnoy and his Barstool Sports empire, the fund helps out small businesses that are struggling to stay afloat during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Barstool Fund has raised over $21,000,000 to date and now that Rodgers has put out the challenge, that number should jump.

Rodgers says he was inspired to get involved after watching the videos that Portnoy and the Barstool Fund have been sharing from struggling business owners, you can see a list of the businesses that have been funded and watch their videos here.

Rodgers said in a live chat with Portnoy. “I’m in. I want to be in at the same amount you put in. You started at $500,000, that’s what I’m in for. It’s an honor to be a part of it.” The star quarterback also challenged his teammates, coaches and the Packers organization to get involved.

It looks like the Barstool Fund has helped out at least four businesses in Wisconsin, but nothing in Minnesota to this point. Across the United States, this fund has helped over 100 small businesses, and the number keeps up. Businesses can apply for help here.

Rodgers isn't the only household name helping out the Barstool Fund, Elon Musk and the Musk Foundation have recently supported the fund as well.
