A & Dubs Announces Opening Date For 2021 Season

This is one of our favorite ways to tell spring is here or near in the Northland! A & Dubs has announced just when they will be opening for the 2021 season.

Surprise: they are officially open as of Tuesday, May 11th! They shared the amazing news on their Facebook page the same day, writing that their "seasonal opening has arrived" for the year. They hadn't shared an update on an opening prior to this news but this is one surprise we are just fine with.

They also went on to add that customers should be patient if they are planning to stop at the business because they are expecting a busy opening week.

In case you didn't know, the business always opens up around Mother's Day in the Northland and closes up shop around Labor Day. They are located at 3131 West 3rd Street in Duluth. Their menu includes classics like burgers, onion rings and soda.

It is also a drive-in, which means you don't even have to leave your car! This news is extra welcome because they are opening earlier this year than they did last year! In 2020, they opened up shop on June 1st. This gives us more time to feast and is great after a year like last year.

Another seasonal favorite, the Portland Malt Shoppe, also surprised customers when they announced they were open for business last month! I drove by and saw a long line and that is how I knew that they were open and that warmer weather was around the corner.
