Great news for Duluthians and tourists alike as Duluth Airshow organizers announced that the show will go on this summer, with a limited number of people allowed each day.

This was made official when Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and the Minnesota Department of Health loosened COVID-19 restrictions across the state. The Duluth Airshow made the official announcement Friday on their Facebook page:

The Duluth Airshow, presented by Essentia Health and AAR will take place on June 26-27, 2021 featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the United States Air Force F-22 Raptor Demo Team.
Outdoor event gatherings in the State of Minnesota have been updated as of today allowing up to 10,000 people to attend the Duluth Airshow per day this Summer.

Duluth Airshow President Ryan Kern added, “The Duluth Airshow routinely draws upwards of 50,000 spectators over the weekend from across the Midwest. The Airshow places a high priority on the safety of its performers and spectators and will continue to work closely with the State of Minnesota to ensure compliance with all mandates including mask wearing and social distancing, as well as any other public health guidelines in place at the time of the Duluth Airshow."

You can click here for full details and to purchase all ticket types. Keep in mind that all ticket types are limited in availability. There is a chance that prior to the June 26 start date, the State of Minnesota could again change COVID-19 guidelines to allow additional tickets to be made available. If that occurs, available ticket quantities will be adjusted accordingly.
