Duluth-Area Bridge On Highway 2 Near Munger Closed Aug 5-7

It'll be a short-term closure, but one that will involve a detour. Officials with the Wisconsin Central Ltd (CN) Railroad are alerting the public to some general maintenance work needed on a railroad bridge to the north-west of the Duluth area.

Specifically, the work will occur on the top of the railroad bridge that crosses over Highway 2 that exists near Munger. According to details shared by the CN Railroad, the highway will be closed at the railroad bridge, and a signed detour will be in place during the closure.

The highway area will be closed - and detoured - starting Friday, August 5. For now, the work is expected to be wrapped up by late afternoon on Sunday, August 7.
