Warming House To Open At Popular Minnesota Outdoor Skating Rink
The holidays are over, but winter, of course, remains. Some people in Minnesota will now settle down inside and await spring, while others will embrace the winter weather and get outside to enjoy as many activities as possible.
When I was growing up, I was definitely in the group that loved being outside to go sliding, skating, play tackle football with my school friends, and more. Of course, this was before smartphones, streaming networks, and all the technology that made it too easy to just sit on my butt inside the house.
If you love to get outside with your friends and family, or if you feel you need to do more of that in the new year, you should try ice skating at Bayront Festival Park. If you're unfamiliar with the location, the outdoor rink is near the Bentleyville parking lot, and soon the Bayfront Warming House will be open, courtesy of the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Department.
