It has been over a week since we lost Dolly Parton and the tributes continue rolling in. I still cannot believe that she is gone! It seems surreal and she seemed immortal.

It has been hard but amazing to read all the tributes to the country star and even more so how many keep rolling in a week after her death. She was truly beloved and there will never be another like her.

She was loved for so many reasons and a big one is that she was so relatable! Despite being a global phenomenon, we never saw her husband aside from a few times in decades and she always wore her heart on her sleeve.

Her spirit touched everyone, even those in the Northland. Now, a Superior business is planning to honor the queen of country with a really cool event.
