It's no secret that Ella Langley is the moment. Not only is she the biggest star in country music right now but she's arguably one of the biggest stars on the planet. She's having an insane run. (Even Garth is a fan, so you know it's legit.)

She has broken so many records in 2026 that I don't even have time to get into them all. Her hit Choosin' Texas continues to dominate basically every chart out there, even as she continues to release new music.

That's how you know it's a good song! Since it hit number one, she's had two other number ones and counting. Now, she's on her way to yet another.

She is featured on a new song with fellow country star Koe Wetzel. It's called Jaded and was just released last week.

This is their second collaboration, with their first being a song called 'That's Why We Fight' off her 2023 EP. Now, they are back in action with this new tune and this time around, there's an incredible Duluth connection.

The song was written by Northland native Jordan Schmidt. He has written some of the most massive hits in country music history, and that's putting it lightly. He's written massive songs for everyone from Morgan Wallen to Lainey Wilson and beyond.

The song started with Ella and Ernest, who had written a good portion of the song when Koe and Jordan stepped in to finish it off. Koe says that they finished it quickly but he chose to keep it off his latest album.

Now, it's out in the world! I bet it will be a huge hit considering everyone who was a part of it. This also isn't the first time that Ella and Jordan have worked together: he helped write Be Her, which went on to become a monstrous hit.

I have a good feeling this will be one to! Who doesn't love a good catchy heartbreak song? I am here for it.

The 15 Best Ella Langley Songs

Ella Langley showed up in country music's mainstream as a dark horse with an unlikely hit: "You Look Like You Love Me," a Riley Green duet that was catchy as all get-out but featured some unusual (and old-school) stylistic choices like talk-singing.

But it was a smash. And that turned out to be just the beginning of what Langley had to offer. She's continued to dominate with hits like "Weren't For the Wind" and the crossover mega-hit "Choosin' Texas," becoming one of the most high profile acts in country music and a bonafide star even beyond the genre.
