Bands Now Needed For Music In The Park Series In Minnesota
Believe it or not, but the first day of spring arrives next month! While it's true that we still have plenty of winter weather left in Minnesota, it's always fun to start thinking about our favorite things to do once the warmer weather arrives.
For people in the Duluth area, one thing many enjoy is the free Music In The Park series, through the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Department.
Enjoying concerts from a variety of bands is a great way to break up the week, and if you or someone you know is in a band, time is running out to submit your band for consideration to play this summer.

Band Applications Now Open For The 2026 Music In The Park Concert Series
The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Division is now accepting applications for the 2026 Music in the Park concert series.
This 90-minute weekly musical performance series takes place Tuesday evenings, from June 16 through August 11, 2026, with a rain date set aside at the end of the schedule.
All concerts are from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Last year, the concerts were split between Lincoln Park and Chester Park, but due to construction projects taking place at Chester Park and the reconstruction of the Chester Bowl Chalet, all concerts this year will take place at Lincoln Park, 2501 W Third Street.
The City notes that in 2027, the concert series will resume as a split series at Chester Park and Lincoln Park.
