Local Studio Issues Casting Call For Major Project

Believe it or not, Minnesota in general has become a pretty big hot spot for filming movies. We've had a few big Christmas movies filmed in and around the Duluth area, and even a television pilot filmed on the Iron Range.

One of the coolest examples of this is a film called Stone Creek Killer, which filmed in Chisholm recently. The movie was put together in record time and is a thriller, which you probably gathered by the name. It came out on Thanksgiving.

Now, another project is filming in the area and they are looking for some local actors to take part in it. Are you the person for the job?

Hibbing Studio Issues Casting Call For Upcoming Commercial

If you're interested in this opportunity, don't wait! Leedrick Studios just released a casting and crew call for an upcoming commercial. The commercial will film during the second and/or third week of December, so there's a quick turnaround.

They released the casting details on social media on Saturday (November 29th). The deadline to apply is this Saturday, December 6th. They are calling the project 'time sensitive' because they must turn it around by the end of the year. That's show business!

Rates are very competitive - and for good reason. This commercial will be for a Fortune 500 company and their digital sales platform. There are several different roles needed for the commercial, and actors must deliver a 'professional but relatable' performance and have natural chemistry with their family members - and an animated character. How cool!
