Here's some news that will surely brighten your day. A small town hockey association was in need of a new Zamboni. They came up with a brainstorming session and eventually came up with the idea to "go big" and ask Pearl Jam to help them out. They'd call it "Jamboni." They didn't expect to hear back.

Zambonis are not cheap. While the specific dollar amount hasn't been shared, Zamobins for community hockey rinks can cost over $50,000. That's a big bill for a small town hockey association.

Fox21online reports that Two Harbors Youth Hockey reached out to the band, and they didn't have high expectations. They were shocked when they heard back quickly with a yes from the legendary rock group.

The Two Harbors Youth Hockey Association shared a video of the Jamboni all decked out on the ice rink. You can see the video on the Two Harbors Youth Hockey Association Facebook Page.

As a show of gratitude, Two Harbors says the band is forever welcome. Wouldn't that be something if Pearl Jam came to Two Harbors for a hockey game?

Pearl Jam was happy to help out a small town community, and that's pretty awesome. Two Harbors Youth Hockey is planning some Pearl Jam based events soon.
