Bravo Star Shep Rose Just Had The Most Minnesota Week Ever
It has been an eventful week at the Minnesota State Fair! I went for the first time in a few years and it was just as great as I remember. I didn't eat anything too crazy but I still had fun in the scorching heat.
In fact, the Minnesota State Fair also had record-breaking attendance the first few days. I am glad I went on a day that wasn't too packed! However, I wish I went earlier this week so I could have seen one of my favorite reality stars.
If you watch Bravo, you probably know Shep Rose. He is a famous reality television personality known for his role on Southern Charm, one of my favorite reality shows ever.
He is also an author and was in Minnesota for a book signing this week at the Mall Of America! He just dropped a new book called Nothing in Moderation: A Psychedelic Reckoning With Excess.

While he was in town, he of course had to go to the Minnesota State Fair. It's only right and just great timing. He was sharing stories on his social media pages in real time and later, shared a photo carousel of his time in the Land Of 10,000 Lakes.

He even rocked a 'Minnesota' hat, a photo he took with a Teddy Roosevelt impersonator at the fair AND took in some of the free live entertainment. Wow, he really did it all at the Minnesota State Fair and it appears that he LOVED it!
As if that wasn't fun enough, he also shared a video of him riding one of the roller coasters at Nickelodeon Universe, along with a photo of him posing with a fan at his book sighting. He also took a picture in front of one of our many bodies of water, and paid a visit to Paisley Park!

He stopped at the famous Monte Carlo bar and sipped beer with the owner of Minneapolis Cider. I love that he actually spent a few days in Minnesota before heading back to Charleston and soaked in all that Minnesota has to offer!
He wrapped things up with a drink at the Hewing Hotel, where he praised his stay, and had a beer at the airport. I am sad I didn't run into him but....he loved it so much, I am guessing he will be back in the future. How fun!
