The annual family fall tradition of Boo at the Zoo returns to Duluth's Lake Superior Zoo once again this fall!

This annual Duluth area Halloween season tradition has been going on for more than 3 decades, offering families a safe and fun environment to trick-or-treat and enjoy activities and other fun at the zoo on three different dates this fall.

The new things the Lake Superior Zoo is highlighting for this year include the newly completed training walls in the cougar and tiger habitats to check out, free train rides throughout the event, and a new pumpkin golf activity.

Along with those new additions, Boo at the Zoo attendees can expect numerous trick-or-treating stations, a mini pumpkin hunt, magic shows, "Boo-tique Craft Show", and the "Bear-ly Scary" nature trail experience, among other activities and games.

There will also be food trucks, keeper talks to learn about the animals at the zoo, and (of course) chances to see the animals!

This year's Boo at the Zoo dates extend over three different Saturdays in October. Those three dates are October 10, 17, and 24. The hours for this year's event are from 10 am until 4 pm each of those days, with a special members-only hour to start things off.

That members-only hour from 9 am until 10 am offers zoo members exclusive early access with smaller crowds to enjoy the event early.
