Glensheen Mansion Competes for National Recognition

Another local favorite is also in the running. Twenty historic homes have been nominated for Best Holiday Historic Home Tour, and Duluth’s Glensheen Mansion has earned a spot on that list.

Every winter, the 27,000-square-foot estate transforms into a Christmas wonderland, with dozens of beautifully decorated trees, glowing lights, and classic holiday decor. Hidden elves tucked throughout the mansion give kids a reason to explore every corner, while adults soak in the history and craftsmanship of one of Minnesota’s most iconic homes.

Visitors can choose from several tour options, including the Classic Mansion Christmas Tour, the Full Mansion Christmas Tour, or the Candlelight Tour, each offering a different way to experience the magic.

Voting is open until December 1, and the USA Today Top 10 will be announced December 10, with Duluth’s own Glensheen Mansion hoping to shine bright on the national stage.
