We may not have baseball yet, but you can still keep your skill levels up. New Minnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson will help with his virtual baseball camp.

The camp, which takes place Thursday, June 18 from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. CST, is open to kids of all ages and all skill levels.

The camp curriculum will focus on hitting, fielding, and baserunning skill development and include drills that campers can do at home along with Josh. Campers will also have the opportunity to participate in a live question-and-answer period with Josh.

Registration in advance is required to participate in the virtual camp and the cost is $10, with proceeds to directly benefit COVID-19 relief efforts.

If you're going to learn baseball skills, why not learn them from three time All Star and 2015 American League MVP Josh Donaldson?  He is one of the best defenders in Major League Baseball as well as a threat at the plate.

After recovering from an injury that ruined his 2018 season,  Donaldson signed with Atlanta and hit 37 home runs in 155 games with them in 2019.  That marked his fourth season of at least 33 home runs in the past five years.

He then left Atlanta and agreed to terms with the Twins on a four-year deal, which included $92 million guaranteed and a fifth year option.

If it wasn't for the COVID-19 pandemic, the Twins could right now be well on their way to setting another home run record in Major League Baseball.  There is still hope for a shortened season, so we can see what should be an exciting Twins team take the field.
