KFAN and Northland FAN personality from The Power Trip Morning Show, Chris Hawkey, Is coming to Duluth and playing the West Theatre in May.

Chris Hawkey played a couple of years ago at the Bayfront, and also at UWS, and killed it. He is coming back to play a variety of music in a special "Storytellers Presentation". Chris is mainly known for singing and being on the Power Trip Morning Show. Hawkey also produces the radio broadcast of Minnesota Vikings and contributes to the Vikings Entertainment Network.

Chris Hawkey will be performing on May 12 at the West Theatre 319 North Central Ave in West Duluth. Hawkey will be presenting his acoustic show at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $26 to $30 depending on seating and are available at thewesttheatre.com. Doors for the show will open at 6:30 pm.

In addition to his successful radio show, Chris is the leader of the Chris Hawkey Band that performs across the Midwest with his special brand of music he calls “North Country.” The Chris Hawkey Band has released 6 albums. Throughout 2021 and 2022, Chris has been touring and performing with The Fabulous Armadillos. Chris most recently released a heavy metal EP called "Equal in Ashes" with The Dark Aurora.

The West Theatre has been presenting concerts and movies at the same location and has a very vintage look to the building. The Venue seats 240 people so it will be a great venue for this show.
