If you have a prescription for medical cannabis in Minnesota, you'll now have a new place to get that prescription filled locally.

Vireo Health of Minnesota will open a Green Goods store at the 4900 block of Miller Trunk Highway in November. This will be the Duluth area's first medical cannabis dispensary.

Kyle Kingsley, MD, the founder and CEO of Vireo Health told WDIO, "I know Duluth well, I did undergrad there, very excited to bring this Green Goods concept and dispensary to Hermantown. I anticipate it will be well-received by the city of Duluth and the surrounding area."

Vireo Health just this week announced the renaming of its locations to Green Goods and they currently have storefronts in Bloomington, Minneapolis, Moorhead, and Rochester.

Currently, in Minnesota, it's legal to use cannabis with a prescription and there are a handful of approved ways to use the drug, vaping, tinctures, and in pill form.

Minnesota allows the use of medical cannabis for a handful of conditions including, cancer, glaucoma, HIV/AIDS, Tourette Syndrome, ALS, seizures, Crohn’s disease, chronic pain, and several others.
