Season Two of the Holzer Files premieres today at 10 pm CST with a Special Halloween Week Launch on the Travel Channel.

The premise of the show is the group headed by paranormal investigator Dave Schrader, psychic medium Cindy Kaza, and equipment technician Shane Pittman revisits Hans Holzer’s paranormal cases. With the help of Holzer’s daughter, Alexandra Holzer, and researcher Gabe Roth, the team picks up where Holzer left off. Sometimes, Hans Holzer wasn't allowed to get into certain areas or properties, so some of the episodes will be a first.

What makes this show interesting is everyone brings something different to the table so that all sides are investigated and checked, meanwhile, you hear and see Holzer’s rediscovered archival files and cinematography. Dave Schrader says it's kind of checks and balances for the investigation.

I talked to Dave Schrader on the phone. He hosts popular radio programs like “Darkness Radio” and “Midnight in the Desert,” where he digs and presents strange, fringe, and bizarre realms of the paranormal. He is also the co-author of the book “The Other Side” and has been featured on several hit paranormal television series including “Ghost Adventures,” “Paranormal Challenge” and “Paranormal State.” Schrader prides himself on being one of the last people to interview Hans Holzer before his death and is determined to honor Holzer’s legendary legacy.
