Duluth Junk Hunt announced Wednesday that not only will there be a spring event this month but they've rented two arenas, so the it will be bigger than ever while allowing space for social distancing for both vendors and shoppers.

The spring 2021 Duluth Junk Hunt will take place from Thursday, April 29 through Saturday, May 1 at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. They made the big announcement on the official Duluth Junk Hunt Facebook page.

Shopping hours for the event will be as follows:

  • Thursday, April 29th from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday, April 30th from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., then 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 1st from  9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., then 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Due to the current limit on how many people can gather in a large space at one time, organizers will be selling blocks of shopping time so they can monitor how many people will be inside the venue at any given time.  They will notify the public through their Facebook page, as well as Instagram, when tickets are available to purchase.

Shoppers can expect a quick temperature check upon arrival and masks will be required to attend. Vendors will be organized in a layout that allows for social distancing for all and everyone is asked to please follow health and safety protocols. Each Duluth Junk Hunt highlights a different local organization, to who they donate part of their admission proceeds to. The spring 2021 event will benefit the Duluth Harbor Mission.
