Viking Cruises Will Launch New Mississippi Ship in 2022

Viking Cruises is building a new 193-room cruise ship that will do trips on the Mississippi River.

The ship will start sailing in the summer of 2022 and provide stops in St. Paul, St. Louis, New Orleans, and Memphis.

All the rooms have an outside view and feature a variety of different room options. Viking says, "Purpose-built for the Mississippi, the ship’s cutting-edge design, expansive windows, and comfortable amenities will make it the first truly modern cruise ship in the region."

Prices start at $3,699 and go up to $24,000+ for their 657 square-foot Explorer Suite. Amenities included a Sun Terrace with Infinity Plunge Pool, 360-degree promenade deck, several restaurants and bars, free wifi, and much more.
