The City of Superior is gearing up for the winter by hiring some ice rink attendants for the upcoming season.

The city is accepting applications now for the seasonal job that pays $11 an hour. Attendants work 30-40 per week, with some positions available for 15-20 hours a week. Work is available during weekdays, weekends, afternoons and evenings.

The following is the official job description from the city: "Performs a variety of duties in support of the ice rink program at various skating rink sites throughout the City. Duties include public contact, working with facilities and equipment, monitoring and assisting program participants."

The rinks are scheduled to open December 18th (this could change of course) and will be open through March depending on the weather. All applicants must be available the week of December 14th for training.
