The Northland FAN is your home for sports on Thanksgiving! We originally had a triple header Thanksgiving day NFL marathon planned for you on the FAN 106.5 FM and 560AM, however the NFL has now moved the Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburg Steelers game to Sunday due to COVID-19. We'll explain more on that later. For now here's what the schedule is looking like.

Join us at 11am tomorrow for the Houston Texans heading to Detroit to face off against the Lions. The Lions play every Thanksgiving (since 1934), and they are hoping for a win as they have slipped to last place in the NFC North with their 4-6 record.  In case you were wondering on the Lions record on Thanksgiving, it's 37-41-2 according to Sportingnews.com.

Following the Texans/Lions game, we will bring you the Washington VS Dallas Cowboys game. That game starts at 3:30pm, but we'll air the entirety of our first game of the double header, joining this game as it follows. The Cowboys have played every Thanksgiving since 1996, and their Thanksgiving Day record is 31-20-1.

Here's more info on the Ravens/ Steelers game. They have postponed the game to this Sunday after another player on the Ravens tested positive for COVID-19. That brings the amount of players on the Ravens who are either positive or have been in close contact to a positive case to 7, according to ESPN.

This Sunday we will be airing the Vikings game starting with the pregame at 10am on The Northland FAN. The Vikings face the Panthers with a noon Kickoff. Remember to listen to all the Vikings games and Sunday, Thursday, and Monday Night NFL games right here on the Northland FAN!
