Need a face mask? You're in luck, the Duluth Public Library is hosting a free mask giveaway this week.

The free cloth mask giveaway from the NAACP will be at the Duluth Public Library located at 520 W. Superior St. on Thursday, August 20th from 5 PM - 6:30 PM.

The masks aren't the only thing going on, you can also get some information about the City of Duluth Boards and Commissions new African Heritage Commission, the 2020 Census, grab some free hand sanitizer from Vikre, Play-Doh craft kits from the Duluth Public Library (while supplies last,) and voter registration information.

The free mask distribution is a collaboration between the NAACP, League of Women Voters, and YWCA.

The City of Duluth first passed a face mask requirement, and shortly after that, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz signed a mandate for all Minnesotans to wear masks in most indoor public spaces.

This is one of several face mask giveaways being supported and organized by the Duluth branch of the NAACP.
