The Duluth Transit Authority made a service announcement on Tuesday notifying the public about bus route reductions. The reason for the reductions is the coronavirus outbreak and decreased ridership. The routes that will be closed either had very low ridership or other service options.

The following routes will close weekdays and Saturdays until further notice:

  • Route 4
  • Route 5
  • Route 15 (on demand trips)
  • Route 24 (Saturdays only)
  • Route 25 (DuLooper)

In addition to this, late night bus services will also be curtailed. The last bus to leave downtown area will be at 9:20pm on weekdays and Saturdays. On Sundays the last bus to leave downtown will be 7pm.

For park point residents using Route 15, it will be on demand only. A passenger is to call the DTA information line at 218-722-7283. A stride van will then be dispatched to bring you to the DTC.

Furthermore, all pass purchasing and customer service will take place at the DTC and no longer available at the Operations Center in Lincoln Park.
