If you wanted to get into the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon, it has reached its capacity, but there is still another way.

The Grandma's Full Marathon is also nearing its capacity with 4,000 people registered for that race according to Zach Schneider of Grandma's Marathon. He also said that there are nearly 14,000 people registered for all the weekend races.

So, it sounds like you should get registered because it is filling up, but also because the price changes too. There has already been one price change, the next one happens at the end of the year.

You can use these options in order to run in the Half Marathon:

  • You can buy a 2-year Guarantee Entry (you get entries for 2022 and 2023)
  • Become part of the Great Grandma's Challenge (You run the Irvin 5k on Friday then you can run the half or full marathon on Saturday).
  • Hook up with one of the Charity Partners and run the Irvin 5k, Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon, or Grandma's Full Marathon.

Here are the dates for the price increases and the cost for the Virtual races.
