Packer's President CEO elaborates on the difficult decision,

The tremendous support of cheering fans at Lambeau Field motivates all of us in the Packers organization, But after consulting with local health officials and reviewing League and CDC guidelines, we felt we needed to make this difficult decision. We will miss seeing so many of our fans, particularly the young ones, during this exciting time of year. We will continue to work on the protocols and logistics in the hope that we can welcome fans back to Lambeau Field for the regular season without jeopardizing the health of our players, team personnel and fans.

They hope to have fans back for regular season games, but that has not been decided yet. The Family Packers Night will take place as a virtual event held at Lambeau Field that will be televised statewide. The date and time has not been decided yet.

The Packers are working to finalize their plans for season ticket holders, and will communicate those plans when ready. Season ticket holders are given the chance to opt in or opt out on the chance to reserve tickets. The Packers organization urges fans to follow social distancing guidelines, and wear masks to help do their part during the pandemic.
