Following a last-minute decision to postpone Wednesday night's NBA game between the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder after what were initially called "unforeseen circumstances. It was later revealed that it was due to the discovery that a member of the Jazz had tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus.

The player that tested positive was Jazz center Rudy Gobert. Team players from both the Jazz and Thunder have been quarantined in the arena in Oklahoma City.

The league notice, seen below, details that the league has made the decision to postpone the remainder of this season "until further notice". The league went on to say they will use this time to determine next steps with regard to the spread of this virus, which was officially labeled a pandemic by the World Health Organization earlier in the day on Wednesday.
