The Tavern League of Wisconsin is giving the green light for restaurants and bars to open their doors immediately.

The surprising announcement came as the Supreme Court ruled that Gov. Tony Ever's Safer at Home order was unconstitutional on Wednesday night.

In a statement on their website, they say, "In a 4-3 ruling the State Supreme Court found the Emergency Orders issued by Secretary Palm as unlawful, invalid and unenforceable. The result of this decision is business can open immediately."

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation has published a Guidance Memo for taverns, restaurants, and supper clubs if they choose to reopen. In the memo, they cover employee hygiene, disinfecting procedures, food prep, and more.

In an interview tonight on MSNBC, Gov. Ever said that the Supreme Court has, "thrown our state into chaos....We are the Wild West." He continued to say that this order will bring more cases and deaths, "I can't tell you how disappointed I am."
