AP -- Here's one issue that could affect baseball in 2020: With so many fewer games this season, players could worry if their stats look bad because of one bad stretch.

A 0-for-15 hitting slump could sink someone's average. A five-run inning could make a pitcher's ERA balloon so much that he can't get back to where he would like to be. And that could get into some players' heads this year — particularly those who can become free agents in the offseason.
