Now that the Grandma's Marathon Weekend is shaping up and opening up, the lineup for June 18th and June 19 after race entertainment was announced.

The entertainment will be at Bayfront Festival Park in Duluth and will feature five local artists and bands, and it will be free of charge to everyone. In order to entice everyone to go, all participants in Grandma’s Marathon and the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon will receive a free drink ticket for Bayfront Festival Park.

According to a press release, there will be food by Famous Dave's and beverages will be provided by Superior Beverages and by Coca-Cola. There will be music all day, so everyone should be able to take in some entertainment. Whether people head down after their race or bring the family later that night.

Bringing back the normal Friday night tradition, there will be music on Friday night a well. According to a press release from Grandma's Marathon, this year Boxcar will play the Friday night show to have a great show for participants of the Irvin and anyone in Canal Park for Michelina's Spaghetti dinner and Essentia Health Fitness Expo. Bayfront Festival Park will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 19. Sounds Unlimited will play your favorite music between sets for everyone to keep dancing and having a good time and keep the fun going for the whole day.

  • 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Rock-a-Billy Revue
  • 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – Boxcar
  • 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Big Wave Dave & The Ripples
  • 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Whiskey Trail
  • 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. – Big Wave Dave & The Ripples
