Minnesota Vikings Selling Personal Cutouts to Fill Stands for $150
There will be no real fans watching the first two Vikings home games at US Bank Stadium, but you can still be there.
Or at least a cardboard cut out of yourself can be in attendance for at least two games this season. For $150 you can submit a photo to the Vikings and they'll put cardboard you in the stands for as many games as they need to fill seats for. Even if fans return, it won't be 100% and they'll need to fill those empty seats with something.
If you'd like your cutout in the season opener against the Green Bay Packers, you'll need to submit your photo here by Wednesday, September 9th at 10 AM, if you miss the cutoff, no worries, they'll still be available into the next game.
Submitted photos must not include any third-party branding on clothing or in the background, and no other teams, only Vikings gear or plain clothes can be worn in the photos. Also, no political statements, logos, slogans or other political content is allowed by the Vikings.
The team says that there will be an opportunity to pick up your cutout at the conclusion of the season. All proceeds from the sales of the cardboard cutouts will "support our local community through social justice initiatives, pandemic relief, Crucial Catch, Salute to Service, and the Minnesota Vikings Foundation," according to the Vikings.
