The NHL used a couple of favorite Minnesota Twins to announce who the Minnesota Wild will play outside at Target Field in the 2021 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic.

NHL fans must've wondered why Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau started popping up on their Twitter feeds playing catch out in the snow.  In the short video below, the two engage in a little small talk before announcing that the Wild will take on the St. Louis Blues.

The game will take place in 2021 on New Year's Day in what should be an amazing atmosphere for everyone.  Ticket information has yet to be released.

Target Field is no stranger to hosting more than just baseball games.  The popular park has already hosted an international soccer match, NCAA football games and several concerts and music festivals.
