Our Northland Signature Golf Hole Tour continues this week - presented by Duluth Dodge, as we highlight the signature hole at courses on the 2022 Northland Golf Card.

What's a signature hole? It's that extra-memorable or unique hole that often stands as the "signature" element of the course. Whether a unique aspect to the green, an interesting hazard, a spectacular view, or any number of other things, these usually are the holes golfers tell their buddies about after visiting a course.

This week, we visited Pine Hill Golf Club, just south of Duluth in Carlton, Minnesota.

Pine Hill is one of the shorter courses on the Northland Golf Card, but don't let that fool you. It offers challenges for newcomers and long-time players alike. Pine Hill is a 9-hole course that features 1,945 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 31. The course rating is 30.9 and it has a slope rating of 90.  It consists of five par-3 holes and four par-4 holes.  Designed by Bob Kelley, the Pine Hill golf course opened in 1996.

Always very well-maintained, this is a great destination for a quick round with some buddies or to introduce someone new to the game.

While we identified a handful of favorites, we landed on the 175-yard hole 8 for the signature hole for this course. See it for yourself and learn why we picked that hole in our video below!
