The Minnesota Vikings wrapped up a disappointing season on Sunday, but there are some reasons to look forward to the future, one of them is WR Justin Jefferson.

During the season finale against the Detroit Lions Jefferson broke the NFL rookie record for receiving yards with 1,379 yards. He surpasses fellow Vikings' WR Randy Moss' rookie record of 1,313 receiving yards, and put himself into the number one spot by passing Anquan Boldin's mark of 1,377 receiving yards in 2003.

Jefferson met with the media after the game and said, "It's an honor to break Randy Moss' record. Him being a Hall of Famer and just being so dominant in this league, to break his record is truly a blessing. It's truly crazy to be in this position."

Jefferson was selected 22nd overall in the 2020 NFL Draft and even before today's game the rookie sensation broke Moss' franchise receptions record surpassing 70 catches earlier this season against Chicago.

Jefferson ended the season with 88 receptions racking up 1400 yards and 7 touchdowns, giving him plenty of opportunities to do his popular "Griddy" dance. Everything is set up for Jefferson to win the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year award, we'll find out if he wins during the NFL Honors ceremony the night before the Super Bowl.
