Classic and hobby cars will be on display Saturday, May 16 in the Twin Ports area.  A variety of Northland classic car clubs and collectors are getting together to "show their stuff" with a Classic Car Cruise about mid-day.

The cruise will happen this time around on the Minnesota-side of the bridge.  Line-up happens at Nick Glumac Drive off of Commonwealth Avenue at 10:00 AM - traveling through Fond Du Lac, Jay Cooke State Park, Carlton, Scanlon, Cloquet, Proctor, Hermantown, and the Edgewood Vista parking lots - before heading down Piedmont Avenue, and taking Skyline Parkway back across and ending at the Clyde Iron Works parking lot sometime between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM.

Organizers are planning for more than one-hundred cars in the lineup.  The owners want to simply share their enthusiasm of the hobby with the area - similar to a cruise event that happened about a week ago.

Everyone is invited to watch; simply find a vantage point along the route and enjoy; practicing "social distancing" is easy to do.  Do you have a classic car and want to join in on the fun?  Just call 715-392-5236 for more details.

Classic car shows are a staple in the summertime in the Twin Ports - often tied-in with other festivals and events.  As the response to the COVID-19 Pandemic changes our normal routine, this Classic Car Cruise offers an excellent way to still be able to enjoy the vehicles without any "social distancing" concerns.
