The Northland FAN 560 AM & 1065FM is proud to be your home for March Madness NCAA Basketball! We'll start coverage of with Selection Sunday this weekend. Selection Sunday begins on March 14 at 5PM. That's when we will know which teams will play and we can begin the fun process of filling out our brackets.

That's a good reminder too to make sure you register to play the Million Dollar Bracket Challenge on The Northland Fan. It's your chance to win a million dollars if you get a perfect bracket. Some of the teams to watch for this year according to SBNation include Alabama, Gonzaga,  Baylor, Florida State, Iowa, Loyola Chicago, Michigan, and Ohio State. All of those teams are predicted to be in the tournament and potential March Madness sweet 16 candidates.

Many also expect Tennessee, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas Tech, Villanova, USC, Virginia, and West Virginia to also place well and do well in the tournament.

Following Selection Sunday, we'll begin airing March Madness tournament games throughout the competition. We'll start with the first four games on Thursday, March 18. Second Round games will begin on March 21. The Sweet 16 games will happen beginning March 27. Next, Elite 8 are on Monday March 29. Final Four games take place on April 3, and the championship game will be broadcast on April 5 at 7pm right here on The FAN 1065FM & 560 AM WEBC.
